CDL Training Near Morgan City

Morgan City is a mid-sized community of 12,000 people. Major highways that run through this area include Louisiana Highway 182 and Louisiana Highway 90. These routes are utilized by Morgan City’s largest trucking employers, including Teche Trucking, Wildcat Heavy Haul, General Oil Field Trucking, CFS Trucking, and Jackson Bulk Haulers.There are two main career options you can look into if you want to start a career in the trucking industry: truck driving and diesel technology. Morgan City has one school, South Central Louisiana Technical College, that offers both of these programs. Tuition is fairly affordable, at about $1,901.
